It’s actually a designer dress from Marchesa that I got from a company called 11 Honore. You can find the dress here: https://11honore.com/collections/plus-size-dresses/products/marchesa-corded-lace-cocktail-dress-with-bell-sleeve-grey?variant=5744890216486 Reply Alexandra November 24, 2018 at 12:24 pm Hello Kristine! Love your blog and your style! Great shopping inspiration. To me, you have the perfect plus size figure, all curvy in the right places and a flatter stomach. As a plus-size women who wears a size 18W, I am curvy as well (butt and hips) but I also have a bigger belly. I was wondering if you have any exercise or diet secrets that you can share about how you keep your curves and your belly flat! Thanks in advance! Reply Shaikh November 15, 2018 at 3:27 am Wow! Your blog really seems to be a genuine one. I have gone through all your posts and I`m highly inspired by your blog. I can`t resist myself from following your blog. Keep it up, buddy. I want to to ask you what underwear I can use to keep my tommy in when i wear a full body dress. I have never worn a full body dresss before because i hate how my belly looks. I admire how you wear them. Reply Kristine October 17, 2018 at 3:05 pm Hi Trenisha. I have a blog post on my favorite shapewear found here: https://www.trendycurvy.com/2016/07/28/lets-talk-shapewear/ Reply Shun August 6, 2018 at 1:17 pm Hello! I’m a newbie to your site and i really love your style. How do you get your tanks to drape at the bottom in the front. Do you by them a size larger? Reply Kristine August 10, 2018 at 7:55 am Thank you! It’s actually the style of the tank top that I am wearing. It’s a curved hem so it hangs like that naturally. You can find the tank here: http://bit.ly/2OoRo3y Reply Faizan July 20, 2018 at 9:11 am Hi, I loved your articles, The quality of the photos on your site is inspirational. Excellent work. The same is true for the posts Reply Emilee Weich May 3, 2018 at 2:34 pm I tried to search your posts but didn’t find anything, do you ever talk about where you get good bras or undergarments? It is worth taking care of Reply Kiara October 31, 2017 at 12:42 pm Hello Kristine, I love reading your blog – thank you so much for the insight! I have a quick question – I was reading one of your posts on shapewear and noticed in all images you are wearing either a dress or a skirt/top. Do you generally wear a shaper when wearing jeans or pants? Thanks again! Reply Kristine November 3, 2017 at 2:45 pm Hi Kiara, thanks so much! I typically only wear shapewear with skirts or dresses not pants Reply DeeDee October 13, 2017 at 12:24 pm Hello Kristine, I really enjoy seeing all the great outfits you put together, you look really fab! I have small query about the Shop Instagram outfit on August 1st -the blush skirt and grey t-shirt: how did you tie the t-shirt to get that amazing twist look at the waist?! Figuring this out with a terrible cold is more than my head can manage! Keep on showcasing the lovely style ideas and giving us plus-size motivation to try something different. Thank you from across the pond – London, England Reply Kristine October 13, 2017 at 10:30 pm Thanks so much Dee Dee! The shirt that I was wearing in that post is actually different from the one tagged. The top that I’m wearing came that way. I was just trying to find something comparable in color so that you can create your own look. Sorry for the confusion! Reply DeeDee October 14, 2017 at 4:58 am Hi Kristine, Thank you for clarifying, no apology necessary; I’ll try to create my own style, fingers crossed it’ll look good! Not as fab as your look but I can but try. Thanks again! I need to know where you find your bras including the strapless ones? You never see any lines in any of your clothes showing the bra underneath. Just curious, thanks! You are such an inspiration Reply Kristine August 28, 2017 at 9:47 am Hi Meghan, thanks so much! Yes I actually have a blog post on all of my favorite undergarments that you can find here: https://www.trendycurvy.com/2016/07/28/lets-talk-shapewear/ Reply Elbereth Stewart August 23, 2017 at 8:23 am Hi Kristine! I stumbled on your page while looking into current fashions and I love you clothing choices. I was curious though what kind of undergarments you would suggest for some of the dresses? I always look lumpy when I wear these styles and you look fabulous. Please e-mail me your secret. Thanks! Reply Kristine August 26, 2017 at 11:55 pm Thanks so much Elbereth! So happy that you found me. And yes I actually have a post on that. My problem area is my tummy, i hate the way my clothes look on me in that area. can you recommend anything that would help that doesn’t cost as much as an entire outfit! Reply Kristine June 20, 2017 at 1:06 pm Hi Kristal. Thanks so much! I actually have a post on my favorite shapewear that you can find here: https://www.trendycurvy.com/2016/07/28/lets-talk-shapewear/. Good shapewear is worth the investment since you will get so much use out of it and these aren’t terribly expensive. Hope that helps! Reply ANNE NISHIMWE August 26, 2017 at 7:52 pm Hi Kristine. My name is Anne. I read your post about shapewear and I absolutely love it but; my question about shapewear is: “How do you choose the size?” Same size as a regular pair of legging I wear or maybe a size under? Reply Kristine August 26, 2017 at 11:56 pm Hi Anne. Take a look at the size chart and it will give you exact measurements so that you can best figure out your size Reply Jenny Coacher June 12, 2017 at 6:59 am Thank you for sharing. Great content. Reply Lisa D Bond February 24, 2017 at 10:20 am Have you ever done a post on 30 outfits from 10 pieces…or something like that? I’ve searched, but haven’t found one. And those on pinterest are great…but your style is so much better. I’d love to see it. Reply Kristine February 28, 2017 at 8:15 am No I’ve never done that. Never even heard of that. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks! Reply Janae January 17, 2017 at 7:35 am Hello, I’m trying to redo my 2017 Wardrobe From Scratch and I wanted to know could you give me any suggestions. I would love to see a feature on it. Reply Kristine January 17, 2017 at 3:36 pm Hi Janae! That’s actually a good idea for a post but I would say start off with really great basics and build from there. A pair of skinny jeans, an LBD, a blazer, etc are all great staples that you can create many different looks from. Hope that helps! Reply Nadia January 13, 2017 at 7:56 am Hey Kristine, First off, I LOVE YOUR STYLE!!!!! You are my daily inspiration. So the big 40 is quickly approaching and I am headed to the Dominican to celebrate in February. I wanted to find some cotton pencil skirts…with rouching…much like the one you posted on Instagram on Nov 13th. Any ideas where I could go to find one this time of year? Also…looking for a cute jumpsuit any suggestions on a site? Greatly appreciated….Nadia Reply Kristine January 15, 2017 at 11:18 pm Thanks so much Nadia and happy early birthday! I haven’t seen any rouched pencil skirts lately but the ones I have are from Vince Camuto so you may want to check them out. Also, Eloquii has some really cute jumpsuits so I would look there as well. Hope that helps! Reply Joy Black January 2, 2017 at 12:27 am Hi Kristine! Your style is absolutely impeccable! I wanted to know what size was it? Reply Kristine September 1, 2016 at 9:20 pm I didn’t include it in a post so that’s why you can’t find it. I was wearing a plus size 1x however if you are unable to find it in plus, the regular XXL fits as well, its just shorter in length. Hope that helps! Reply Devi April 20, 2016 at 9:09 pm Hello Kristine! First of all, I LOVE your site! So good! Thank you for being you and sharing it with the world. My question is- do you use a body shaper? If so, what do you use? I’m having the hardest time finding one. Reply Kristine April 21, 2016 at 4:24 am Thank you Devi! I have had spanx for years so that has been my go to but I also just got another one from Maidenform that I really like as well. Hope that helps! Reply Kundai March 16, 2016 at 1:14 pm Hi Kristine, please can you do a article on shoes, what to pair shoes with wat type of clothing and for us curvy girls wat heels are comfortable and look good… Reply Kristine March 16, 2016 at 5:45 pm Hi there. That’s a good idea but its hard to do posts about just shoes since everyone’s comfort-ability levels are different. I try to show through my posts different options for different styles of shoes but the possibilities are really limitless Reply chadel January 25, 2016 at 6:18 am You are super cute and I love that you are promoting plus size! Look at the styles, simple trendy gorgeous and smart. You rock my world right now, dear What size do u wear currently? I do UK 26. Wanna know how to shop form the site u posted. Reply Kristine January 25, 2016 at 7:03 am Thank you so much! I am generally a size US 16 although some pants/jeans I am a US 18. It depends on the material Reply Antoinette January 6, 2016 at 5:13 am What shape and brand jeans do you wear? I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit me right. I’m curvy and size 14. I recently got some at old navy; they are mid rise curvy and they keep sliding down. Your jeans seem to fit you well; I would appreciate some tips thanks. Reply Kristine January 6, 2016 at 4:00 pm Hi Antoinette! Thanks for your question. Old Navy has been a favorite of mine for years but not the Curvy line, the Rockstar line. However, I think they may have changed the design/fabric of those jeans because I recently ordered more online and they did not fit the same. I did order from the plus line as opposed to the regular line so I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. Jury’s out on that one. Another one of my favorites though are H&M+ jeans. They have an amazing fit. Lastly the brand NYDJ found at Macys, Nordstrom, etc. Reply Antoinette January 9, 2016 at 11:08 am That’s very helpful. Thank you Kristine! Reply Nicole June 25, 2015 at 1:29 am BRAS!!!!!!!!!!!! Help! I love your blog! It gives me so much life! Just wondering though…do you know of any sites or stores that would sell plus size short sets? I keep running into them in the online boutiques in SMALLER sizes, but I think it would be awesome to find a trendy one in plus size. Thank you! Reply Kristine May 1, 2015 at 6:09 pm Thank you so much Symone! I really appreciate that. I don’t know of any off the top of my head but ASOS always seems to be on trend so you may want to check there.
