Holiday Shopping w/ Simon Premium Outlets

November 17, 2015

The holiday season is quickly approaching and if you are like me, every year you are scrambling trying to find the perfect gifts for your friends and family. During such a special time of the year, getting great gifts to show your love for those that you love is so important…and often very stressful. With so many different personalities, tastes and interests, you can easily find yourself going from location to location, spending hours upon hours and still coming up empty handed. Well, there is a solution to your problem. One that involves one stop, a variety of choices AND affordable prices. Sound too good to be true? Well, it’s not. Simon Premium Outlets offer a wide variety of brands all in one convenient location. With retailers like Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Coach, Nike and many more, you have access to the equivalent of several mall locations within just a few feet of each other. There is literally something for everybody and because of that, your holiday shopping can go much smoother.

I’ve actually tried it out myself. Not only did I start my holiday shopping much earlier this year, I also visited the Camarillo Premium Outlets to test out the shopping experience firsthand. It was great to have so many brands at my fingertips. See below for some items that I picked up for my own holiday shopping list. Be sure to find a center near you and let the gifting begin!

Wine is one of my favorite colors of the season so you can imagine my excitement when I saw this wrap skirt from Eloquii. The design is super chic and completely fit with my style (and it was on sale!). I initially was going to pair it with black and gold but I decided to try something new and do a bit of color blocking. Blush balances out the dark, rich color of the skirt and brings an interesting element to the look. Being pretty much a neutral, blush goes with many different colors and can be that perfect contrast that is needed. A gold plated belt was the finishing touch for this outfit, allowing me to break up the two colors while still presenting a cohesive look. Blush + wine = a chic combination!

Happy Friday ladies! We have made it through yet another week (yayy!). As promised, I’m bringing you another look from Catherines’ Holiday collection. If you remember from my last post, I am the November style ambassador so I will be choosing and styling my favorites from the collection to show you each week. This week is all about preppy style. I saw this Scottie dog sweater and thought it was so cute for the season. Sweaters are great garments because of how versatile they can be. You can wear them with pants or skirts, wear them by themselves or layer as I have done. I decided to pair it with Catherines white collar non iron shirt, which by the way is a staple for any wardrobe and one of the best quality collared shirts that I own. It added a cute flair to this “school girl” look that I finished off with a skater skirt and of course red pumps. All I needed was a Scottie dog to match!

Stay tuned next week for another holiday inspired look!

It actually hit below 60 degrees here in LA this week. Fall weather is definitely in full effect. All of us Southern Californians are rejoicing that we are no longer plagued with an uncomfortable heat wave but that we can finally enjoy cooler temperatures (while they last). So I am pulling out all the stops. Scarves, boots, turtlenecks and especially faux fur. Faux fur has the ability to make any outfit look ultra chic. I love how just a simple additive can totally change your overall look. From faux fur shawls to bulky jackets, this fashion piece is sure to bring some interesting elements to your wardrobe.

Since the air was a bit chilly, I decided to go with a faux fur vest that I found at H&M. The chocolate tones are what sold me and I knew that I wanted to pair it with one of my go-to colors of the season, wine or oxblood. The chocolate in the vest mixed with the deep, rich color of the bag paired together really well. A simple turtleneck, skinny jeans and knee high boots were all this outfit needed. Fall in Cali never looked better…faux real (I couldn’t resist).
