I’m starting to feel like every week, I sound like a broken record. But the fact of the matter is, everything that I’m staying holds true week after week (well, at least for me). The facts that remain is that:
#1 – we are very much into the Fall season especially as it pertains to fashion
#2 – it’s still hot
This is that time of year in Los Angeles where things can get a bit tricky. That’s because the trends don’t match the weather and it makes it very difficult to style. Fashion is already ahead of the times, so that combined with this “second Summer” that we are having makes being on-trend a task. However, where there is a will, there is a way!
I look at this situation the same way that I look at every fashion obstacle that I’ve faced. And that is…you just have to get a little creative. So, in order to have the best of both world with style and functionality, you just have to think outside of the box. So, this is my way of capturing Fall fashion in 80 degree weather. You can never go wrong with a pencil skirt and I’m loving this wine color. I can get so much use out of just this one piece. I can wear a chambray blouse with it, or a moto jacket, or even color block with blush pink. Fall is apparently animal print explosion so this top is not only on trend, but also pairs really well with this skirt. I tied it up to give it a different feel.
Overall, the message of the day is…an obstacle is never a road block. There’s always a solution and you can always make trends work for you.
