I know what you’re thinking. You are probably saying to yourself, “Kristine, it’s only November and you’re wearing sequins already?!” I know, I know but let me explain. You know how holiday decorations start to pop up in stores in like…October? Well, that’s the same thing for holiday fashion. Fun, party styles slowly but surely make their way into stores and online as early as November in preparation for the upcoming season. Every year I’m torn when it comes to decor and fashion. On one hand I say to myself, “dang, can we even get to Thanksgiving yet?”. The other part of me is excitedly looking through the selection so that I can buy something. So, I have been holding out for as long as I could on not purchasing holiday styles such as this sequin skirt but the temptation just got too great. And here we are.

As we ramp up for holiday parties and even New Year’s Eve, sequins is just a must. It’s festive, fun and gives you an opportunity to be a little more glamorous than you normally would. When I saw this skirt from ASOS, I knew that I had to have it. Every year, I am pleasantly surprised with the different variations that retailers come up with. I’ve seen a lot of different designs with sequins but this is truly unique. The color combination and the stripes are just so cute and it’s even more stunning in person. Check out all of the outfit details below and I’ve also included some other holiday sequins styles that I’m loving at the moment…you know, so I won’t be the only one out here in these streets (lol).

I have a similar black sequin skirt that has been my go to for holiday events for several years! I always pair it with a black peplum top, hot pink heel, and sparkly turquoise earrings! Might be time to upgrade to a colorful sequin skirt.
