I’ve just recently returned from an amazing getaway to Miami, Florida and I must tell you all about it. If you have been following me on social media, you were going along the trip with me every step of the way BUT here is a full recap of my vacation and all the things you didn’t see.

Miami is such a picturesque location that is so reminiscent of the Caribbean. It is a great alternative for those that just wish to travel domestically and economically because it provides such a similar feel. South Beach is vibrant, lively and so full of culture. It is one of my favorite destinations to visit in the U.S.
Where I stayed
I was fortunate enough to stay at the Nobu Eden Roc resort. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The images online simply do not do this location justice! Traditionally, I’ve stayed at boutique hotels located in the heart of South Beach on Ocean Drive where there is always a party going on (think Las Vegas strip). The Eden Roc, however, it still very close to the main South Beach area (less than a 10 minute drive), however it offers so much more in terms of amenities, views and accommodations. It truly offers the best of both worlds with a luxury, relaxing stay while still being close to all the action.
Everywhere you turn looks like a postcard. It is just so beautiful! The decor is modern with crisp white and aqua blue furniture to match the stunning views. The lobby smells of their signature lemon ginger scent with melodic tunes playing in the background. It instantly puts you into vacation mode.
The Nobu Eden Roc Resort consists of two hotels within one location: The Nobu side and the Eden Roc side. I stayed on the Eden Roc side as some of the Nobu rooms are currently undergoing renovations (although still available to book). While both equally glamorous, they offer different vibes. Eden Roc blends the tropical Miami style with chic glamour and Nobu is luxury Japanese Zen. The views are what makes this location so ideal. Breathtaking, panoramic views of the ocean and beyond is what will immediately strike you once you open the door to your room.
I initially stayed in the Ocean View Suite where all of the rooms have balconies angled towards the ocean. Even the bed is positioned perfectly so that you wake up looking at the ocean.
I also had the opportunity to stay in the Oceanfront One Bedroom Suite which words can’t even explain how immaculate this room is. These rooms are corner suites with floor to ceiling windows as well as an oceanfront balcony. I stayed on a low floor so it literally felt like I could touch the ocean from the room.
The Nobu rooms are ultra glamorous with influences of a serene, Japanese garden. Every detail of this resort is just so well thought out. There is no area that has not been thoroughly designed.
So needless to say, it was a great vacation and I cannot wait to go back. Until next time Miami!
