Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and while some of you may be planning on going to a fancy dinner and dressing up in a sleek dress, others may be taking the more casual approach by simply going to see a movie or having a girls night. I’d venture to say that more are taking the casual approach as opposed to the fancy dinner especially since Valentine’s Day is on a Tuesday this year. However, just because your plans may be not be extravagant doesn’t mean that your style has to be compromised.

Hence my take on this plus size Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration. Red is definitely the most notable color of the holiday however I find it to be a little more of a formal tone so I went with a blush pink sweater. Blush reads more everyday which matches the vibe of this look. I kept everything light with a white tank top, light wash denim and taupe booties. With Spring on the horizon, you will be able to wear this look far beyond Vday and well into the warmer months ahead. And we love versatility here at TrendyCurvy!

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?

You have taught me to embrace my curves and look good while doing it. I was in a dark place because of the weight I’ve gained you’ve shown me you can still look classy or sexy with curves. I’m getting out the house more and because of your blogs and Facebook posts I can truly say I’m living life again thanks so much.

Oh my goodness thank you so much! This is all that I could have ever dreamed that my blog would do. Fashion is great but it means nothing if I am not inspiring women to live their full lives. Thank you for sharing this with me. It means the world!
