I’ve said this before and I will say it again. Neutrals can be anything but boring! I’ve have grown particularly fond of gray tones and mixing that with light denim and nude shades. While discreet, it still somehow manages to make a statement! That’s why I blended this sleek yet casual waterfall cardigan with a matching scoop neck dolman tee underneath. Both of these items are from Slink Jeans. As the name suggests, the brand is definitely known for their denim but they also have some great complimentary pieces as well (as you can see).

Since we are on the topic of denim though, let’s chat about these distressed skinny jeans that I have on in this post. Comfortable, great fitting denim is so important to my everyday style. Jeans are my most worn garment just because of how versatile and easy they are to wear. Since I have a curvy frame, great denim is not always easy to find however some brands just seem to get it right. Slink Jeans is one of them. As their slogan “a Premier Collection designed for Curvy Women” suggests, they make their clothing specifically to fit curvy frames. This is so important especially when it comes to denim because of one word: stretch. In order to hug curves, the fabric has to have the ability to stretch. It not only makes the denim super comfortable to wear but it also hits you in all the right places, leaving no gaps at the waist or ill fitting portions. I think that it is so important to invest in a great pair of denim that will last for years to come and Slink Jeans would, in my opinion, be a wise investment. Give them a shot and see it for yourself. Check out their full selection here.

I’m not trying to make you jealous or anything, I’m not trying to make you jealous or anything, but the weather has been in the 80s this past week in Los Angeles. I have just been loving it and @stitchfix sent me the perfect activewear sets to rock. This one, as well as another one I posted in my stories, are just so cute and fit so well.

Unfortunately pieces in this look are old. Boots are from @nadiaaboulhosn x @fashiontofigure collection that sold out. I link similar sweater dresses in the link in my bio and the same hat in a different color 🖤
#ad Let’s normalize celebrating your body, even #ad Let’s normalize celebrating your body, even if you desire to make changes to it. Let’s normalize working out for other reasons than just weight loss. Let’s focus on being the best version of ourselves, rather than the idea of another person’s life/body that we covet. Life is simply too short to not embrace your own amazing journey.

Connecting mind, body and spirit by doing a little beach yoga in this @lululemon gear and yoga mat. I’m awful at yoga if I’m being real. But I’m trying to do new things and allow my body to surprise me with its capabilities. Check out links to these items in my stories! @shopstyle #thesweatlife

These are just a fraction of the comments that I see. And while some of these are made in jest, your words and thoughts have so much power. You are not shaped like a (insert object). You are a person. And I don’t want to see this language anymore. K? Love ya!

I saw this quote and it stopped me in my tracks. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day or obsessing over things we don’t like about ourselves. In 2021, I’m challenging all of us (including myself) to think higher, think bigger. Our lives are so much more vast and meaningful than we imagine. Be the ocean...
