Hello my loves! I hope that everyone had an amazing holiday and that you were able to spend it with people that you love. I was blessed enough to be surrounded by family and friends so I couldn’t ask for anything more. Now that gifts have been exchanged and all the delicious food has been eaten, its back to reality but a stylish reality.
So this look, while not monochromatic, still follows the same principle as a monochromatic look but with two colors instead of one. By mixing two hues from head to toe, it creates a sort of colorblock look that I styled with darker shades. I’ve mentioned before that gray is one of my favorite neutrals because of its ability to pair with either side of the color spectrum so I thought this dark gray turtleneck really made the wine pants and accessories pop without overshadowing it. Also with looks of similar colors, a great way to break up the monotony is by adding texture like I did with this faux fur clutch. It’s a simple way of keeping with the color scheme while also adding a chic element to complete the outfit.
Hope everyone has a great New Year!
