I have fully submerged myself into the Fall color palette. I was teetering on the edge of Summer and Fall, dabbling in both of the season’s styles but I have come to realization that I have converted to the dark side. Now my wardrobe consists of earthy neutrals, rich wines and harvest tones such as this rust colored skirt. I am just loving all of the deep hues that are available this season. There’s something about Fall style that makes it the pinnacle of fashion in my book.
While I have transitioned my style, I still like to mix in some lighter colors such as blush pink and nude that perfectly contrast the more darker shades. As you can see with this look, the mesh nude bodysuit gives a softer note to the richness of the burnt orange skirt. If I would have gone with black for instance, the combination of the two may have clashed.
I also think that its great to mix in current trends to keep things interesting. Metallic has become very popular recently starting from the designer runways all the way down to the everyday woman. Seen in skirts, dresses, bags and accessories, this trend is literally everywhere. I decided to start incorporating metallic into my wardrobe in subtle ways such as these rose gold metallic pumps that I absolutely love. It pairs great with the existing color combination and provides a bit of bling to the look. This is Fall style done my way and just how I like it!
