It’s no secret that I love blazers and cape blazers are no exception. They are such a simple way to make your outfit super chic and trendy. I got this cape blazer for an affordable price at Target from their WhoWhatWear collaboration. Although it is essentially a simple garment, the detail gives it a classic style and one that will translate to many different looks. For instance, while blazers are known to be professional type attire, you can also make them fitting for a girls night out by adding a crop top and bodycon skirt as I have. Since my color palette was just black and white, I added a pop of color with these hot pink high heel sandals and a pink lip to match. This is classic style taken up a notch!

The print skirt provides a nice contrast to the dark cape blazer, for a classy and versatile look!

Beautiful outfit!! Just wondering, what brand and type of shape wear (if any) do you use? I have a ton of body con skirts and dresses I would love to wear, but need to find good shape wear. Thanks!

Unfortunately pieces in this look are old. Boots are from @nadiaaboulhosn x @fashiontofigure collection that sold out. I link similar sweater dresses in the link in my bio and the same hat in a different color 🖤

Connecting mind, body and spirit by doing a little beach yoga in this @lululemon gear and yoga mat. I’m awful at yoga if I’m being real. But I’m trying to do new things and allow my body to surprise me with its capabilities. Check out links to these items in my stories! @shopstyle #thesweatlife

These are just a fraction of the comments that I see. And while some of these are made in jest, your words and thoughts have so much power. You are not shaped like a (insert object). You are a person. And I don’t want to see this language anymore. K? Love ya!

I saw this quote and it stopped me in my tracks. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day or obsessing over things we don’t like about ourselves. In 2021, I’m challenging all of us (including myself) to think higher, think bigger. Our lives are so much more vast and meaningful than we imagine. Be the ocean...
