Color blocking is still alive and well! This trend emerged a few seasons ago and has really never left. The reason being is because it is so versatile and there are so many different ways to interpret this trend. Using complementary but opposing color palettes is the perfect way to spice up any outfit. My favorite combinations in addition to the ones used this this post are yellow and turquoise,¬† purple and coral, fuscia and blue and many more. You can really get creative and come up with your own looks as well. The key is to let the colors shine on their own without adding in too many additional accessories. After all, you don’t want anything to compete with your color block look. Keep everything simple and you are good to go!

That is a very cute outfit. The similar link for the pants goes to Express which doesn’t sell plus size. Can you recommend another site for similar pants?

Thank you Tori! Unfortunately I couldn’t find any that were of the same hue in above a size 18. These are from Fashion to Figure but they are no longer available. I will keep my eye out though and update my site/social media if I find any!
