Black and white are one of my favorite fashion combinations. I especially love when I can add a pop of color to it (hence an older post found here). It’s an unexpected flair that adds a bit of sass to your outfit. The good thing about black and white combinations is that a lot of colors can compliment it such as pink, as I did, mustard or even blue. The possibilities are endless.

Also, I love to wear my garments in different ways. After all, who has the money to keep buying new things all the time. The trick is to get key versatile pieces and make them work for different looks. Case in point this off the shoulder top. I first wore it in my Holiday Sparkle post, but with a collared shirt under it, it gives it a new feel that can work great for the cooler months as well as for the office. Make your clothes work for you and not the other way around.

I am so glad that I found your blog!!! I really like the heels, but can you tell me if you purchased them in the wide or the medium?? I have wide feet so any type of point kills me. Thank you!!

Thanks for your comment Kristina! I purchased it in medium but I don’t have wide feet so if you do, then wide may be the way to go

I absolutely love these pants on you. I also love that your posts are always practica for the everyday woman. I Trouble with some bloggers because it seems like they’re just trying to sell a product. Did you have to order in a larger size? Old navy is hit or miss for me with their sizing (hips and thighs chile) lol

    • Kristine January 26, 2015 at 2:22 am

Thanks so much! I did order a size up (as I normally have to do for Old Navy) but they always fit me great. Hope that helps!

Can I ask what size you are in torrid clothes vs old navy?

        • Kristine January 27, 2015 at 8:16 am

Well it depends on the item but for the most part I am size 16 although I go up a size in pants for Old Navy

Got so much love for this combination. You made me know plus size persons can also dress sexy and you’ve greatly inspired my fashion sense as a fat person.
