I couldn’t cover my first fashion show without posting the details of my outfit. I went with an A-line, printed dress that I got from Macy’s. Macy’s has been one of my go-to stores for some time now. It seems to me that Macy’s is often overlooked by plus size women because of the preconceived notion that it will have the “department store feel” or that there will be a lack of variety in the fashion selections but in all actuality, Macy’s carries high end designers such as Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and INC that feature larger sizes for us curvy girls. Not to mention you can almost always get these designer fashions for discounted prices by catching one of their sales (I’m all about the bargains!)
This particular dress is from Bar III and it features a bold, fun print that was perfect for the fashion show. Bold prints are definitely a must-have trend so don’t shy away from these fashions. I added a gold belt to the dress to not only cinch my waist, but also to add a little bling (every girl needs a little bling). Haute, bold fashion for Haute Curves.
